Also does that carb have a vent hole comming from the float chamber. Could be pouring out of the hole. Some of the carbs I have worked on have a little tiny coiled spring that goes on the float pivot pin, to hold the float ever so slightly up pressure. Keeps the float from jumping up and down thus the float gets too low and floods out. It is used on carbs fror tractors in bumpy fields. Very sensitive little spring.
