I have finished reading my Lancaster farm newspaper,,so lets take a ride and deliver it .We are taking it to two old dairy farmers.

They live on a side road,,just less than a half mile form our house.

The road they live on is next to the river,,otherwise all these farms would probably be developed third party imageThere are four farms on this road. The first one is a horse farm/riding/boarding.The house is very old and historic. third party imagethe barn used to be dairy,,now its horses. An unusual barn,,built of concrete third party imageit has some wooden fences something like Grandpa Love showed us in Alabama third party imageNow we are aproching the two older dairy farming brothers.

They no longer milk or have cows,,but do still bale hay..and have some nice JD tractors. third party imageThey have a nice old farmhouse third party imageThats one of their barns,,they milked cows for many years third party imageyou can see where the silo used to be,,and the barn cleaner was to the left.it was fairly new,,right before they stopped having dairy cows third party image third party imagethey still pack the other old barn with hay each summer, its rainy today,,but you can see some more JDs to the left of the picture third party imagenow we are at the end of the road.A wealthy fellow bought this nice farm and farmhouse,

Now he is building a new house,,,its huge [img]http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/photos/14112.jpg[/i third party image third party imageAt the very end of the road, was another dairy farm. The old dairy barn was tore down,,some of the outbuildings were fixed up.The original farmhouse was tore down.

And this is the new farmhouse for this farm. third party imageThere was a lot of land with this farm,,up on the hill ,It is where Toll Brothers are building a huge development with houses that sell for 1,200.000 and up,,they have sold many,,and are building many more right now.///// Thanks for taking a ride with me in NJ today,,I enjoyed your company on this rainy day.
