I think some of y'all have pretty lofty ideas of "what it's worth."
The tractor collecting business ain't what it was a few years ago. Old collectors are giving it up or passing away. Commodity prices have taken a dive.
You may think you've got something special, but it's only worth what the next guy will pay for it. Maybe you've got the next guy, your so-called "friend," snowed into thinking it's worth some ridiculous amount of money but the savvy buyer KNOWS what its worth, and you do too.
If you don't want to deal with the "pickers" or think that "haggling" means not shooting someone with the 12ga for daring to offer a dime less than your asking price, then fine, keep your stuff, or send it for scrap. Maybe you'll stop complaining about people who are just trying to see if maybe you'll make a better deal.
I just wish everyone would see your ads for your ridiculously priced stuff and just keep on reading. There's always the one that has to "take a shot" and get you guys all worked up and frothing.
