Good morning.
After my father in law passed away we inherited his Honda RT5000.
It does not have the original size tires on it therefore the transmission is hard to engage at times. This is according to an auto mechanic friend of mine
The current size tires on them are:
Front 1555/80 R12
Rear P185/64 R14
I came across an advertisement for the original size turf tires which are:
Fronts: 7x12x20
Rears: 8x14x24
My friend said I may tear the transmission up if I continue to run improper size tires.
My question is for anyone who has experience with the RT5000s. If I put original size tires on do you think will it help with the transmission issue?
