I have all the design and fab work done on the 2 post canopy for the 431T. I adapted the gig which I built for the 2 post on my 831C to work on this one also. It just fastens to the end of the boom on my cherry picker, and locks into two pockets on the 2 post, plus I welded in an eye to hook a come-a-long into to level it while lifting. The last couple of days I fabed a lateral support to reinforce the 2 post from side to side. It bolts down to the top of the rockshaft housing and tranny. I believe this will hold up to any accident that could accrue. There are 4 bolts that go thru the rear axles that hold this to the tractor. Today I will cut out 4 fishplates from 1/4" plate to reinforce the bottoms of the posts where they attach to the axle. I ran into one problem with the build. There wasn't room for the remote levers between the 2 post and the 3pt control quadrant. So I cut the levers off, with plans to reconfigure them. It dawned on me that I had stashed a set of control cables off a snow plow truck, years back so I dug them out. I will build a nice console on the RH side of 2 post for the levers and an anchor bracket down by the service valves and run the 2 cables between. Problem solved. Once that is all done, I will prep it for paint, but can't paint until it warms up. The swing out tool carriers on the sides of the tractor, and the grill guard are done also. I have plenty of other projects to keep me occupied until then.

Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
