My grandpa, great uncle, and great grandpa had mostly IH and Oliver tractors. They did have a couple odds and ends tractors like a WC Allis, the Model 41 Silver King I have now, and a Massey Harris or 2. I dont know which Massey it was, but I do know it was a diesel, there is still a spare head for it setting in the back of the shop at my cousin's; the tractor itself has been gone for a long time. My great uncle had a 66 Oliver he bought new, my grandpa had a 70 Oliver. Then between them they had a Super M gas, and a Super MD and 2 MD's. There was always a couple of H's, of at least one was a new one my grandpa bought new, it isn't seized up, but still sets in the previous barnyard at my cousin's, but he wants too much for it for the amount of repairs it needs. There was also the "little A" that the kids used for chores, with no electrical and no provision to mount a starter, crank start only. My cousin still has one of the MD's, the A, the 2 H's, and the 66, and I have the gas Super M and the Model 41 Silver King. When my dad started off farming on his own, he had 2 John Deere A's, a John Deere G, and a 4010 D. Later on, once the A's were gone he got an IH 706 G. All the John Deere's have been gone for 30+ years, but we still use IH tractors for the farm. We use old stuff though, 26,66,74,86,88 series IH, but also have and use a lot of the letter and number series for odds and ends. Also have a lot of fleetline Oliver tractors we use for odds and ends as well as a 4600 and 5600 Ford.
