: A husband and wife team are moving from San Francisco to farm country in Maine and are now responsible for mowing 6 acres and plowing over 150 feet of drive. : Looking for a tractor, mower, plow, and wagon. Do I need anything else. Any quality used equipment I should consider/avoid? HELP! I find most of these comments very interesting. I live in Litchfield, Maine and we get a good amount of snow in the winter. My neighbor Ed has a Ford 8N that he plows his dooryard with and I have a Farmall Super A that I use to plow my 350 foot drive and dooryard. Both tractors weigh in about the same at 2100 pounds. I've never seen Ed not be able to clear his door yard nor have I ever not been able to clear mine. It does take longer with a tractor than it would with a FWD pickup but isn't that the fun of it ?
