I am going to apply to Guiness World Records for the following feat. I have purchased Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell album ten times(10), yes 10 times. I purchased it first in 8track version, then boiught a truck with cassette so purchase #2. Oldest daughter took it to a pary and lost it. Replaced it with #3. Second daughter took it to a party and someone stole all her tapes, purchased #4. Son had my Firebird out one night and said the tape caught in the player and by the time he pulled it out it was ruined, purchased #5. Bat out of Hell was in my truck and one night some little jerk went through my truck , took change, a utility knife and my Meatlof tape. I was in a music shop a few years later and they had a clearance and what do I see, Meatlof so I bought #6. Over the years it got misplaced and I had no idea where it went. Last summer we were at the cottage and we drove into the Port of Goderich to do some grocery shopping. We decided to go to Walmart and there in the music aisle was "Bat Out of Hell" so I bought it,Number 7 for those keeping score. When we got back to the cottage I said to my wife we should buy each of our kids that Meatloaf tape...thought it would be a Christmas gag gift,so the next morning I went back they only had two left so I took them..8 and 9th. I had my sister in law searching because I needed one more. One morning the phone rang and it was my daughter wondering if we could take my grandson to Stratford for an orthodontist apptm. After his appointment we went to walmart there and behold..NUMBER 10 Bat Out of Hell. Under the tree this morning are three Meatloaf tapes among thier other gifts...Guiness Record !!!!
