I picked up an international 444 tractor that had some wiring issues.
The farmer parked it in his garage five years ago drove it in and haven't driven it since.
I found some of the wires were burnt up from the main wiring harness right above the starter or the alternator area.. unknown if it happened before or after he parked it.
I've repaired most of the wires by using Common Sense , color coordination and the length of where they went. Etc
However the main wire that was burnt up is a longer wire that ran near the starter it did have a red coating and was a heavier gauge I've traced it all the way up underneath the dash to a connector plug where it plugs into another. However there is no wiring coming out the other side it looks like it was burnt off clean or has disappeared somehow.
Can anyone look on their tractor and tell me where this red wire should be going? Two photos attached here, thank you so much in advance.
In the first photo you can see the bare wire that has the red coating burned off that leads to what I referred to the upper left corner of the plug. The second photo shows the other side of the plug where the wire is just missing, a connector was inside there but no wire to the connector.
I don't have a wiring diagram which would help immensely if anyone has one.
