The wood is coming along nicely .Went out to the acreage and man o live what a lot of wood laying down where the fellow had a road pushed into 400 acres. More wood then we would be able to cut in a life time. I got to run the Oliver for 3.5 hrs. Had to lift the legs to operate the clutch. I had a swell time just being able to do that again.Son had to lift em up on the wagon and the trailer and got it all home.Had my son#2 and daughter hooking up the snatch chains.Even the grandson cut away the limbs and Victor did a whole lot of cutting.Pictures shows the size of the 16 foot logs.Some measured 24+inches at the base. The wood has been down for at least 2 years, if not a little longer.Mostly Oak,and maple.We're going after more wood some time next week or so. What a chore the boys had lifting me up on the O.C 46 so I could do my part. Not to shabby for an 82 year old duffer.Sure will be great to not have the smoke and dust, ashes in the house.Wish I would have had the outdoor wood boiler years ago, but better late then never. House temperature stays what ever we set the thermostat at,plus the garage is warm also.Right now the water(400)gallon is 170/o an holding.Love the heat!!!. Gotta stay warm the winter.
