We use lots of mesh tarps to cover nursery stock. They are extremely strong, won't flop in the wind, and leaves don't burn under them.
You could easily make it into a roll tarp, requiring minimal tie down time. Most trucks and trailers that come to the nursery have these factory installed. I tell the small timers that come in with the cheap blue or grey tarps, they are better off going without than covering stock with these tarps.
