Hard for me to figure as I'd probably have the tractors I use anyway and I'm not going to sell the farm I live on so the taxes would have to be paid anyway plus as the other poster said I get a huge tax break for having an ongoing ag enterprise.Then there are the farm trucks I can run on the road without paying any license fee or having to have them state inspected can run them 50 miles from my farm and going to 75 July 1st.I use 3 New Holland Balers to bale my hay they all cost me a grand total of $1300.Of course there is fuel,twine and other such expenses but all and all the cows just being here is a wash and what I sell the calves for mostly profit.And then there are the health benefits of staying active and my animals and farm are a great source of entertainment.Also save any money I'd spend going on vacations as I can't leave the farm for more a day at the time.Didn't realize how profitable my cattle and goats were(LOL).
