I explained this several times before , once again. Hydro electric is 5 to 6 cents to sell whole sale . Nuclear is 7 and that incluides refurbishing the units . They have been running flat out for over 20 years, they are due for an inspection and fresh pressure tubes.
Wind is paid 13.5 cents wholesale, solar an average of 40.5 cents and natural gas 17 cents . They also have the priority to generate even though hydro electric and nuclear are cheaper.
Hydro One pays Michigan and New York to take the surplus power that they paid 13.5 , 40.5 and 17 cents per Kw hour. How is nuclear running up your power bill ?
Who pays to subsidize the "green energy " ?
