I haven't heard from Emily. But I think Heather has a crush on me, she calls me about my credit cards, going to some place on a cruise, and various other neat things.
I get many calls at work, we answer all calls, that's our business. Sure does get crazy sometimes. We have a standing policy now: If it's a live person calling, we tell them to hold while we get the one they ask for, usually the owner of the business, or sometimes the shipping department or other important sounding people. By putting them on hold it ties them up just a little longer. We never are rude to them, but that's the limit there. Recordings are usually just hung up on, but sometimes I'll listen to it to see if a person comes on at the end. If that happens, the hold button comes in again, telling that person I have to get the boss or whoever I make up.
At home I talk to them, taking up time like others have talked about.
I do have an open question: Has anyone reading this right now ever, ever bought anything from a telemarketer, or do you know anyone who has? Do they ever sell anything to anyone? I have never gotten a positive answer from anyone I have asked.

To the newcomer planning to restore the machine, this means you have everything you need for the moment (something to sit in the shop and just look at for awhile while you read the books). To the newcomer that wants to get out and use the machine for field work, you may have already hit a major roadblock. That is the dreaded "proprietary hitch". With the exception of the
