Thanks JDS. Had planned on putting up a new shop this year, but is looking to be a horribly wet year, so now the plans are to build a custom tractor. With that, I'll need to build (or buy) a good, strong loader for it. I "think" I can make due for now with the junk that's on this Farmall, which would be nice as I really want to focus the finances on the homemade job. We live in a northwoods wetlands area, so the only tractors suitable for this area year-round are well out of my price range - hence the need to build my own.
Am pretty sure it's a Farmhand F-19 that's on there now, but some of the patches on the loader arms are 3 layers deep!! Also, the bucket is in seriously bad shape. Still, I think it'll probably work for what lifting needs I'll have in making the other build. Can always grab the duct tape if need be. *LOL*
Still, any ideas on that horizontal cylinder on the above pic?
