Everyone up here knows about the storm. The week before, we had the wind storm. I lost 20 some trees. One at the front of my property fell towards my neighbor's house. Luckily , it got caught by a maple. I pulled it down last Sunday and cut it up. The butt logs were next to the drive, I was tired after cutting up about 10 of the stupid dead Scotch Pines and didn't move the bits of the first one I cut. What sucks is my wife told me I should move the one next to the drive.
Well Tuesday came and I plowed at 7 pm. About 16" snow. Well I ran a couple of times through that spot and heard a banging under the truck.
So the lower part of my sump is dented beyond belief. The truck still runs fine, been digging the 2200 foot drive out all week but sounds like it's got a diesel knock. Crank bottoming out.
Long story short. Can I get the pan off on a '94 Silverado without lifting the engine. I can't get into my shop at the moment. Four feet of snow off the roof in front of the overhead door.
By the way ACG guy, when the nor-easter stopped, lake effect took hold over my house. We got our own 3 feet.
