In a previous posting, I stated that I have the head off an AC ca tractor and one of the pistons is marked different (3 @8-2-R, 1@ 1590-R) than the other three. I have poured some light-weight oil into each cylinder to check the rings seals. After about 60 hours of sitting, the 8-2-R pistons (1,2,4) are still holding oil, but the cylinder with the 1590-R (3) piston is dry. Can I just pull that one piston; check and repair as required?
