Last fall I bought a new Kubota ZTR 54" mower---Loved it from Day One. Since we've had warmer weather recently, I thought I'd crank it up and pulverize some of these oak leaves that cover the lawn. Couldn't get the mower started. Called the dealer---since the warranty on a new mower is 400 hrs--or 4 yrs--whichever comes first. Guy came out and made an adjustment on the choke mechanism. Mower runs fine now. He gave some hints on troubles that tend to occur. The drive belt from engine to pump tends to come off occasionally---possibly due to sticks or debris "derailing" the belt. (Not necessarily a flaw of design of the mower.)
