I had a '62 for a spell. One 200 mile trip to her parents house with 4 little kids, and an old (CCC or WPA) concrete highway with expansion joints alive and well (chig a chig a chig a........up and down) caused by 1 of 4 cylinders not working correctly (started just after we got going) limiting top speed to 45 mph was enough for me. After we got there I tried to buy a new '64 Ford mid sized 4 door sedan and the local after market dealer (not Ford authorized) wouldn't trade with me because I was from out of town.....that wasn't the reason (grin). He didn't want the thing.
