Spent yesterday and a lot of today sanding on the truck. Pretty much ready for primer I think? Need to pull window trims, and do a little sanding / scuffing by hand here and there. As far as paint removal, I stayed away from the paint stripper. I read the can at AutoHouse and though "NO!". I just sanded. and sanded. and sanded. then I sanded some more! LOT of work, but it is going to be so nice when it is done!!
The 2nd picture is where the big crack was in the right dually fender. I sanded down to the plastic inside and out, and did a very thick layer of fiberglass on the inside, and a single layer on the outside. Set up really strong, looks good. I sanded that a little, and then a light layer of LiteWeight, and it is looking really good! Going to really burry that area in Primer, should cover it up once I block it down I believe.
All in all going well! Have decided that I am going to go to 19.5 Semi tires / wheels. I think it is going to look REALLY good when done! So excited! :)
