: What would be a good asking price for 1952 Farmall Super M, S# 500896 and 1954 Farmall MTA, S# 743608, both in fair condition?

: Thanks

I bought a Super MTA at an auction last summer in northern MN. I paid $2000. It would be considered in good shape, I think. The tin is quite good, although the grille will need some work. Rubber was fairly good. Runs well and the TA is good. It is narrow front. I was at a sale recently where a Super MDTA went for $3500. It had brand new rubber on the rear and seemed to run well and the tin was very good. I bought an H at that sale and paid $1500 for it, along with a 450D which I paid $2800 for. That was probably top dollar around here for those units. The $3500 for the MDTA was high, but there were two guys that wanted it badly so up went the price.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro ... [Read Article]
