I was stationed at Fort Story and one of our drivers had to haul a TD24 dozer to Fort Eustis with a 10 ton tractor and lowboy with a fifth wheel dolly. They would not let him through the tunnel because if over width. Driver had to back for about a half Mile. later had to move it with a LCU landing craft.
