Pre-emerge herbicides are the key in controlling water hemp. I use Optill pro. Its a preemerge you spray within 3 days after planting. Its a two part spray with several active components. It has worked very well for my roundup resistant water hemp. I have a neighbor like yours, refuses to control water hemp. Yesterday he had the coop out spraying his water hemp, I mean bean fields. Only thing he could have been using is cobra and at this late stage that's going to burn the crap otta the beans. I'm dreading the day Palmer shows up!
