We just retired a 2001 Silouette. It got 21/22 mpg mixed mileage. I will admit I'm a lousy driver with an auto trans. the van is only the second automatic car I've owned. I've been driving legally since 1977. The van held up well, although we bought it with a bad motor, the previous owner sold it to us cheap enough to put in a used engine. We put another 150k miles on it. It's down fall was the electric windows and locks started dying one at a time. Then the A/C condencer sprang a leak. We decided it was time to go. We didn't want to pass these troubles on to anyone so we scrapped it. But overall it served us well. I wasn't against getting another one to replace it, but we got a good deal on an '03 Suburban witch works out better for me as a work/fishin truck.
