"Pitbull" is a generalization that people often make when describing a dog.
I just want it to be known that American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) is a breed of a dog. There are many breeds of dogs that often get confused for being a "Pit Bull" when in fact they ARE NOT.
An American Pit Bull Terrier is a people friend, animal aggressive animal. These animals are NOT the ones who are biting people. Those are other breeds mixed together or a totally different breed. But every time the media and the public run with the title "Pit Bull" and give the breed a bad reputation.

I raise APBTs and have for many years and I can tell you first hand that what you all have described as "Pit Bulls" are a totally different breed or mix of breeds.
It's kind of like a city slicker looking at your old Ford 4000 and saying "Man, that's a nice Chevy tractor."
You'd shake your head and think that this idiot has no clue what he's talking about. Kind of like how I feel when I hear people talk about APBTs.
