Woke up to light rain, I didn't have to work but Alta did, so I loafed around the house a while before I went to the shop. I got to listen to the Buy, Sell & Trade show on WRMJ, Aledo radio while I got caught up with farm records. Went to the shop and decided to weld up the drive chain tighteners on the White 5100 planter. After that, I made and mounted holders for field flags on both 1850's. Just a piece of hose zip tied to the handrail on one and a piece of conduit zip tied to the mounting bracket for the sprayer controls on the other one. I changed the primary fuel pump on 1850 #2 and drained the oil and changed it and filter. After lunch, I took the old marker hoses off of the planter and replaced them with new hoses. I'm not using starter fertilizer on the planter now, so I took all the hoses and plumbing off of the planter and put it on the shelf where it will probably be when my kids clean out the shed after I die. I quit around 5 and said that's enough for today.
