We had 19* for the high 12 days ago, I picked up baby chicks that day!, then a mild stretch, this past wedensday it was 75* here and it made 80* in Albany about 25 miles South East of me. Saturday and Sunday were pretty mild, now today it's 34* and a raw cold Rainey damp day, just relit my Woodstove. At 6 am i thought i heard the county go buy, sure enough i drive to the farm at 8am and hear the salt hitting my truck? It sure has been a strange winter, no steady temps to speak of, a month ago today or so we had -21 coldest we've ever seen it here. As I stated I never plowed snow once this year, we would get at most 3 inches and 2 days later it would rain and melt away, not looking toward mud season!
