My wife says I should buy stock in a battery company because I buy so many batteries. Well, this month is radiator month. First, my 1950T single air cleaner is coming together and running. I wanted to test the radiator before it went in and sure enough, it leaked. It's repaired and in. Second, my 1550 Cockshutt. It has a couple of stuck valves but first I had to fix the radiator. It's fixed and back in. Third, my D-17 series III diesel. My brother had it at Rollag Mn, and Albany MN shows but the radiator leaked. It's out now and repaired. In the process I saw that the power steering belt was cracked and split on the inside V portion. It was a fairly new NAPA / Gates belt that proudly displayed "Made in Mexico" on it. I bought a step up green belt thinking it might not be made in Mexico but it said the same thing. I would gladly pay double for one made in the USA. You have to take apart the whole front of the tractor to get to this belt. I don't want to ever change it again.
