Don't get to post much but I sure have enjoyed the pictures on the feature night threads. And love the homemade stuff. My Dad, and I pretty much never bought anything new that couldn't be improved by a farmer. In years past when we should have taken pictures,,never thought of it.
Many years ago after the purchase of a new Massey-Ferguson model 82 combine he told me the difference between engineer's and a farmer. We had to take off some big sheet of metal on the combine. Don't remember what it was for but he told me: It took 20 years for someone to decided it was needed, took 2 years to design it, took 2 months to build and install it but only 20 minutes to take it off.
