Hi everyone. Havn't been around in over three years, so thought I'd check in and see how everyone is and give you an update on what is happening in Bernieworld.

Still living in the same place although as from a year ago it's about 30% bigger. Mrs. Bernie is still as pretty as ever and little Miss Burnie: well not so little. All grown up, gratuated high school, now has wheels and is busting to get out of town and head for the 'big smoke'. Can't say I really blame her, I was pretty much the same at her age.

I'm not teaching agriculture anymore. The college was closed, I was made redundant and had a nervous breakdown. In hindsight it had been brewing for a while, probably started with the big flood of 2011. So for a while I didn't feel much like doing much at all. So what do you do when you're at the bottom and the climb out seems almost impossible? Well, you do what your wife tells you, take the meds the doctor gives you and do what you what you were born to do. In my case, hop in a tractor and operate til someone tells you to stop. So for a couple of years it was head down running a laser bucket, excavator and scraper for a friend. I am blessed with a wonderful bunch of family and friends, none of them judged or turned their backs on me. It took a while, but now I'm off the meds, and back to my old bouncy self. Haven't felt this good in years. Even went down south for the big 2014 wheat harvest which was really something.

Now I'm working out in the gas fields doing weed control. You get to drive all over the place and see some really special country.

Got a brand new laptop for Christmas so decided to have a prowl around the old YT. Great to see some old familar handles and new ones as well. Looking forward to hanging out with you guys again.
