My son bought a dash camera that may just come in handy. Some farm tractor operators should install one in their tractors while traveling down the highway. Watch the semi driver being confronted by a highway trooper,when he was stopped, and it sure came in handy for him. Years ago when my Son in law was discharged from the army, we were traveling highway out of Trego,Wi. looking for an acess road to the river.Highway patrol coming at us made a u-turn,come roaring up behind us lights blazing,siren blaring, so my SIL who was driving pulled over ( now we were going slowly enough trying to see the river road) The trooper exited his car and came up to our car said he was doing 75mph in a 55mph zone. Told the H.P I wanted to see the radar and his log book showing the last entry on speeding ,that I contened he didn't remove the entry before he issued My SIL the ticket. I was told He (H.P) didnt have to show me his ticket book. I told him he most certainly would have to show the ticket book to make sure the entry before MSIL was NOT THE SAME speed citation issued to another when we get to court. Sil paid the ticket any way . Damed if I would have. Camera removes all doubt when proving who is in the right.Handy when and if we get cited or in a collision with another vehicle, deer,whatever. Was wondering how many use the dash camera? Good thing to have IMHO. LOU.
