: hi, I have a JD302-A loader-backhoe. I just burned out the clutch disc (bits and pieces came flying out). Tractor will not move anymore. Looking for any advice on what to do/not to do to replace this. I'm pretty good repairing machinery but have never had to "split" a tractor.. Thanks in advance. dave Spend several yrs in a ford dealer.... be very sure to drive wood wedges in each side of the axle pivot,(oak is best......not soft wood like pine) this way the front section will not pivot over. Be sure the hoe is down on the ground and the loader too. If your hydraulics tend to leak, watch for it to shift after you split it. I would have my parts ready and a couple offriends to help. It's not a hard job, but it's a good way to get hurt too ! Good Luck !!!!!
