Just returned from Verlan's sale in Belleville, Il. The restored tractors were done extremely well and had all options available on them. Just a few prices from the tractor line-up. John Deere WA-17 $80,000.00 John Deere 630 LP Standard $46,000.00 John Deere 620 LP Standard $42,000.00 John Deere 60 LP Standard #37,000.00 Two gear boxes to change a 540 RPM PTO on Waterloo 2-cylinder Tractors to 1000 RPM. $10,000.00 for one and $8,000.00 for the other. John Deere 430 Industrial Crawler $30,000.00 John Deere 330 Industrial $24,000.00 John Deere 430 Utility $12,000.00 Just a few of the prices. Amazing just how much one man could collect in his lifetime. Some of the antiques were just outstanding and I think that a lot of them went to museums for others to enjoy. I also understand that he had two or three other auctions before this one. A wonderful man that I have known for several years. May he rest in peace and may others enjoy his vision and the fruits of his labors. Tom
