No! Not my boots!

I cut firewood today in the timber and ended up falling and spraining an ankle pretty good. I will survive, but my boot did not.

These are my favorite pair of Rocky waterproof work boots. I wear them everyday and have for about 6 years. They are still water tight. I have three new pairs as replacement but I don't like any of them for one reason or another.

I cut/tore the leather all of the way through about where my pinkie toe is. I could see my sock. Does anyone know of a way to mend leather? I am honestly going to call Rocky Boots tomorrow and see if they will repair it if I send it to them. I'm guessing not. Who wants an old boot back from a hog farmer in Kansas when we could just sell him more new pairs!!

I've honestly considered a tube patch. It ruined my day. I guess RR was right. Work on Sunday and repair on Monday.
