Farmtrac is a company all it's own. It bought in to Long and called it Long Agribusiness.Later on it became Farmtrac. The Farmtrac was built on old style Escort Ford plans. Somewhat like the Ford tractor. They are still built in India.
The Long tractor was in that deal. Farmtrac still had some longs till Farmtrac went bankrupt in the US. After that Montana had several of those Long tractor models under there name. Farmtrac doesn't have those models anymore. Montana may not now if they still exist. The Farmtrac parts you find up in NY are just that Farmtrac parts. Not Long parts.
The reason Farmtrac USA went belly up was several CEO's from India walked off with 50+ million dollars from the USA company and left dealers holding the tractors. Those CEO's are wanted by North Carolina but can't get them back on our soil to prosecute.
