Bill they where in the 14-15 GPM range in pump capacity. This is like the JD 30 and 40 series tractors. If you are trying to run a vacuum planter and other things they ran out of hydraulic flow. For just general field work and livestock care they would be fine.
They also did not offer bar axles. So wheel spacing could be an issue. Getting them down to 60 inches for narrow row carn was hard and then your turning radius was bad.
As for which I would like better??? Valtra or NH????? I would say total picture, it would be NH just because of dealer support. Valtra was just trying to get into the North America market in 2000-2005. They had few dealers and got bought up by AGCO soon thereafter. Part support from AGCO is getting real spotty around here. The Valtra tractor would be more rugged but dealership support and parts are just too big an issue.
