By connecting the batteries in series for cranking, then connecting them in parallel for running / charging.
A few small changes to ground one starter terminal, remove the ground from the battery crossover wire under the floor and connect the lights so both sets run on the 12V pos terminal, Then connect 12V alt output to 12V pos battery terminal plus feed the gauges from that point, same as rewiring for 12V, would get er done. Most of that can be accomplished by connecting the 24V pos and neg wires to 12V pos at the starter, and both to the alternators 12V "BAT" output terminal at the alternator. Might have to change the fuel gauge and sender, as some don't work with 12V neg ground.
