Absolutely, the prostate exam is nothing compared to the other one at least, have one friend 4 years younger than I, had his removed already and so far he's ok, the other, you just don't want. Another friend 2 states east, works in the section where I believe its last call with cancer if you get my drift. One of his patients, a woman in her 20's, on her death bed, he said he could not give her enough pain medication as she was slowly dying, just a fact of life and cancer, this is nasty business, compared to the examination procedure. I'll be first in line when the doc says I need to, she said you'll have it done when your 50, insurance or something makes it so, that's not too far off now.... and she's the same one that examines the prostate, said you have one of a 27 year old last time it was done. Well at least some part of me is still young LOL!
PS, when I was around that age, had that prostate exam done, but the doctor sure was creepy, I never went back there again. The current doctor is the best, I was really sick a few years ago, she really did everything possible to help me. Don't bother me one bit being a woman doctor, she's quick about that embarrassing exam, like most I don't particularly care for it LOL! Its a medical exam that needs to be done and its sure good to know you are ok afterwards. My friend with his removed, did not have any symptoms, they caught it in some other test, he'd not be here today if this was let go, wife and young daughter, not good.
