: I am so pleased with my first implement, a scoop bucket, I was wondering if there is such an animal as a 3 Point hoist with some sort of winch to raise trusses or beams? I own an Oliver Super 55 that I would be using with it. Please include any safety concerns as I am new to tractors. TIA I have seen commercially made "booms" that go on a three point for lifting. A local feller uses one to load and unload his bush hog, which I'd guess weighs a 1000 pounds or so. You could rig a snatch block and run a winch line through it, I should think. Safety wise, I'd be real careful about how much I lifted so as not to tip the tractor, lift only when the rear wheels are level and never drive with anything suspended from it. Judicious application of common sense should cover the situation.
