That's awful. I have been around that area; I used to work in Metarie sometimes and I used to like going to Deanie's to eat. I sure do miss that place. Hate to hear that. Just plain meanness, as my Mama used to say. They ought not even have a trial, just take those folks out back get it over with and save everyone else the trouble.
That is some kinda weather. I remember that bridge, too, kind of a scary thing going over the river. First time I ever was on it at night, a train came over going the opposite direction and scared the crap out of me.
