I have one side curtain, the other we never could figure where it went. Somewhere I have receipt where Grandad bought this in 52 I believe.
I grew up on this tractor and know every nuance of it's being. I think the Olivers in this series were the most user friendly tractors ever made!
I put about 6 hrs on it this weekend clearing grown over pasture ground. It is the longest it has been used at working temp for quite a while. It seemed to like the exercise! It is running pretty smooth now. Like has been said; keep the mechanicals serviced and use it!
It does not bother me to have branches scrape along the sides or it being covered in residue from chopping. I did mow down some 6 foot dead cockle burrs and a bunch of burrs landed on me and under the dash becoming entangled in my hooded sweatshirt. I think I will burn it instead of trying to pick them out. lol
We got 6 acres of Alfalfa, Timothy, Red clover mix planted and another 6 or so chopped. We have some nice grass mix on some patches too.
