Posted by SWVA Zetor on March 28, 2015 at 14:46:24 from (67.237.189.100):

I get to the tractor and start it for the first time of the day. This problem happens no matter what time of day or season it is. (6 month going on problem) The tractor starts just fine two to three cranks and fires right up. I let it sit and warm up for a min or two depending on how cold it is. And it gets up to operating temp no problem and stays there. I can run it for 24 minutes fast slow loading unloading bales no issues when it starts to slowly but surly die over a coarse of 10-20 seconds. If I wait 5-10mins the tractor will start again but will take a lot of crank time and runs rough as a cob for a minute or two then will die again with in 10 mins and the process can or will start all over again depending on what I need to get done. To me it’s like someone has just turned the fuel off but this is where I can’t understand what the problem might be. Because I have replaced most of the fuel system over the past 6 years. I will give you a breakdown of what I have tried and parts that I have replaced.

The tractor has 2800 hrs on it
2008 I replaced the injectors and metal lines alone with the rubber lines
2009 I replaced the injector pump, or had it rebuilt…long story but symptoms are not the same not as what I had before.
2015 I replaced the fuel lift pump I thought that was my problem this time. I also ran it with out the fuel cap on to check to see if it was getting vapor locked.

I also do regular matinees on the fuel system change the filter ect. And have checked all rubber fuel lines for cracks and leaks and none to been found.

If any one has had this problem before and has fixed it I would love to know what their solution is.
