I tried watching online at home but the computer had trouble running the program. I talked to a friend who was there and I will give his take. Land. Tillable land was 8000 per acre on average. High quality land that a substantial amount is suitable for vegetables. I did not see any soil maps but I think some of the ground is along the Genesee River so irrigation is possible. Also, BTO presence is intense in the area. All in all the situation when you look at all the factors is not typical for a lot of NY ag. Forgot to mention one of the few areas left where vegetables are still processed or where the processors will conduct business in. Equipment brought good money but I guess there were a few bargains such as a JD 450 end wheel grain drill. 4000 series Deere's brought good money. 4250 open station recent paint was 31,000 dollars. Combine was 100K.
