I was in the area of a town called Neshanic in NJ the other day,,,and since I Had my camera,,,took some pictures,,thought some might like to see them. third party imagethis was a large dairy farm ,just before neshanic,in a different town,Toll bros,..a large developing company was going to buy it and develope the whole farm.The town bought the farm,so it still is standing,,, third party imageThis building ,in the nice little town of Neshanic,,was the home of JS Covert,,,a local JD tractor dealer,Buick cars,,and I Think they may have sold Studebakers at one time too third party image third party imageAome of the original signs are still in place third party image third party image third party image third party image third party image third party image third party imageNow lets drive about a half mile out of town,,here stands the feed mill ,farm supply for the area,it was a thriving busness in its day,it sits idle now third party imagethe little house has a scale platform next to it third party imagethis building has a feed grinding machine in it,,or it used to,,,,Im not sure if its still in there,,,, third party image third party imagenow lets drive another mile or so ,,,,, third party imageA typical house we pass along the way,,,many bigger too ,all spread out through the area third party imagethis old farm sits right in the middle of a huge golf course,its right next to the office of the golf course,,No signs,with a nice large blacktop road,,Im gonna drive in and get a closer picture third party image [img] The old silo sits majestically next to a putting green in a huge fancy golf course.
