Ryan, I'm so sorry to read of your accident and loss of a hand. In one moment things can change forever, but in time you will be able to adapt and find ways to get most everything done again.
I lost one foot to cancer years back and I have met many amputees that continue to amaze me with what they can still do. There are many one handed golfers that can beat the able bodied folks! There is even an amputee golf association that organizes tournaments and golf scrambles. Everyone is welcome from beginners to the pros. I only golf a couple of times a year but try to always get to my state's golf scramble.
There is a organization for disabled farmers called AgrAbility and it is in some states, but not others. It is funded somewhat through government grants and other means. They may be able to help you adapt some of your equipment to help you adjust, or if you search for it on the net, or the Breaking New Ground program at Purdue, you can find a bunch of reading on what others have done or made to adjust.
Don't be afraid to seek out a peer group for amputees as they are the best group of folks that can give you advice on how to overcome life's challenges.
