I got up this morning thinking I want to have a seat on my little terramite with an arm rest for my right arm. I drive with my left arm and my right arm operates the front bucket. I don't know why, but the arthritis in my right shoulder kills me for days after I use the loader. I have to have an arm rest in my truck for right elbow to rest on, same problem.
So I was thinking of a way to put an arm rest on seat. On my way to town there was an office chair was sitting when along side the road. The light went on, I stopped and picked it up.
It took a few hours to adapt chair to tractor. Removed the left arm rest so my left elbow doesn't hit it when I'm driving and it makes it easier to get in and out. The seat can slide back more than the original. Sits better. Can't wait to test it out. May put a cushion on arm rest. I can now rest right elbow on arm rest while operating the bucket.
