: : I have experienced my first tractor blues, it seems : : my international dealer is having a hard time : : getting my parts in correctly. I have on three : : occasions ordered three different parts for : : my Farmall H and have received all the wrong parts. : : Is there someone out there where I can order parts : : and have confidence I will received in most cases : : the correct part. I used my parts book and so did : : the dealer. Any help would be appreciated. I am : : new at this, and this winter would like to fix : : my tractor up a little. And what is a good lubricant : : for the transmission and differential, the book states : : SAE-90, the dealer recommendered SAE-30 transmission : : fluid. : You should use 90 -140 gear oil in the transmission. The hydraulic uses SAE 30 NON detergant. As far as gettting the right parts, sounds like you parts man doesn't know what he is doing. I have never had problems getting parts for an H. It is one of the best known tractors! just changed my trams/diff- 6 gallons of 90-140 for parts try central tractor- always had what i needed - usally in stock on common stuff
