Just like Vicon is a sub of Kverneland Group; Kverneland Mechatronics (the part that brings the auto-guidance system) is a sub of Kverneland Group. Kubota got the whole shebang when they bought out Kverneland Group a couple of years ago.
Kubota knows 2 things. They have the rice paddies of Asia sewed up. They can not play with the big boys in the U.S. unless they get bigger tillage; planter tractors.
This latest move into the medium sized market (hay) is just a step in that direction.
