The hywy is flat and then it drops down into a valley. There is a guardrail along the side to keep the cell phone/texters from driving off and into a lake. As I started down, I noticed something in the road. I moved over and went around it. It was the front part of a deer. Head neck and shoulder. It was still steaming. I was happy to see that the driver was smart enough to drive far enough down the hill to pull off after the guard rail had ended. I would have guessed that the deer had been hit by a large truck, but it looked to be a Chrysler mini-van. And I did not think he had much damage, other than the usually broken plastic and missing headlights.
Wed. night I had to have my lights on dim and it was wet . Something streaked across ed the road in front of me and it was gone before I could even lift my foot off the floor. I am quite sure it was a deer but it was there and gone in a blink of an eye. Be careful out there SDE
