Several years ago i was going to change the oil in my car at my father in laws house, which he was a mechanic for buick for 30 years plus. I was on his concrete driweway and he and the mother in law were leaving for the weekend. His very last words to me as he was backing out the driveway was Boy dont you get oil all over my driveway. Well while the oil was draining i go inside and had some beers with the girlfiend/wife and a couple friends, comeout an hour later started back on the car as i had put 2 quarts in and was working on the third i look down and oil was all around my feet. Yep forgot the plug.. instead of wiping the oil up with rags and such like a smarter man would have i took the hose and washed it into the grass of the front yard. Yes it killed all the grass the size pick-up truck bed in the mans front yard. after the butt chewing a few days later he made me dig up all the dirt haul it off and put good dirt back in and plant new grass. I think about that from time to time durning my life and it always makes me smile. So no your not stupid nor I but it will always bring you a smile when you tell the story to someone.
